ABOUT RICE BOWLS-
We were founded in 1980 in Upstate South Carolina! That’s over 45 years of providing millions and millions of healthy meals to hungry orphaned children!
Bowl PROJECTS-
Rice bowls are plastic piggy banks shaped in the form of a bowl of rice. These currency collection devices will hold change and dollar bills. You can order FREE bowls for your group to raise funds to provide life-saving meals!
-
Bowl projects are perfect for any-sized group, including schools, churches, VBS, scout troops, clubs, families, co-workers, youth groups, and more! You can order bowls in quantities of 10, 20 and 50.
-
It is customizable to your group’s schedule and needs. We offer projects in 1, 2, 4, 6, and 8-week timeframes!
-
Crack the bowls open and count your funds. You deposit the funds into your account and can send them to us by online donation or a check! Together, we provide yummy meals to children in need.
Advocacy mission trips-
We currently have serving opportunities in Honduras, Zambia, and South Africa.
-
We stay at or visit our partner children’s homes. We are there to play with the kids, be a respite for the caretakers, and serve the home however we can. They are the ones doing the hard, important work for our kids!
-
Our Honduras trips are $2395, and our trip to Zambia and South Africa is $4195. The initial trip deposit of $295 is non-refundable and goes towards your total amount due.
