Meet Guadalupe – Lupe for short. After being abandoned at a pool hall in the slums by her teenage mother, she was cared for by strangers. A short time later, at only three months old, Lupe found herself home at New Life Orphanage in Managua, Nicaragua. Now at age 4, she is affectionately referred to as “la bandita” – a true reflection of her firecracker personality. Lupe will flash her smile and take off running for the nearest ball to play! Though she may have a rambunctious, fun-loving personality, her “aunties” are quick to add that she is sweet and eager to do what is right. She is growing, eating healthy, and being loved unconditionally.
