Financial Accountability
We believe God has called us to be faithful,
effective stewards. Therefore, we will be guided by Biblical standards of
integrity and accountability. (Proverbs 2:6-7, 11:3, Hebrews 4:13, 1
Corinthians 4:2)
We are committed to fulfilling the following standards as a
faith-based non-profit organization:
We subscribe to a written
statement of Beliefs clearly affirming our commitment to the evangelical
Christian faith and conduct our financial operations in a manner which
reflects generally accepted Christian practices.
We are governed by a Board of
Directors, none of whom are paid staff members or
their relatives. Our Board meets regularly to establish policies and
review ministry accomplishments.
Our
statements are prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting
principles and are audited annually.
We
seek to conduct our activities with the highest standards of integrity and
to avoid conflicts of interest.
We
clearly identify the purpose and programs to which all donated funds are
applied and ensure that these donations are used for the purpose for which
they are raised.
